Hello Kris,
WO97 and WO100/112 available whilst at Kew and online, the Queens South Africa medal, that Mike mentions, was issued to him with the Cape Colony and Orange Free State clasps on the 29th of December 1903 and the remaining three clasps, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 were issued from the 1st DG's supplementary roll on the 8th of January 1904.
This does not however answer the original question of his actual service, day by day, on the veldt, a transcript of the brief entry for the 1st DG from Captain Stirling's " Our Regiments" is available, here, on this site, under unit information, but, if you require more detail you should consult any of the published regimental histories, their museum is in Cardiff Castle.
